According to a statement this summer from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, a 2003 expansion of on-site mental health services at clinics in the hospital's Ambulatory Care Network is paying significant dividends for patients, particularly the youngest group. In 2002 the hospital placed psychiatrists and psychologists at three community primary care clinics to offer evaluations and treatment services; the effort was expanded to eight community sites the following year.
