Oct. 24--Two weeks after holding a workshop to discuss a potential 690-unit elderly care community on the east side of Pleasanton, the City Council and Planning Commission will take a look Tuesday night at another potentially large development.

The sessions are primarily information-gathering meetings while the city updates its general plan, which outlines a city's future growth; however, the proposed developments again illustrate just how close the city is to build-out.
