Screen will unveil its Taiga System strategy, a new color

electronic prepress system family incorporating existing Screen and other color prepress system modules with new production management components to automate the production of color pages. Also new are the SG-7060 P color scanner and DTS-1030AI desktop drum scanner, an enhanced version of the 1015 introduced last year.

The new system includes the TaigaSpace Station for workflow control and database management, TaigaEdge for on-the-fly page imaging of all page elements including electronic dot generation and raster image processing, and SPX-64 (an existing product) for integration …
