Ex Libris has announced it is to float on the London Alternative Investment Market (AIM) to raise approximately $15m ([pounds sterling]8.5m).

A representative for Ex Libris told IWR that it is too early to say what the money would be spent on when the flotation is complete: "Exact sums have not been earmarked for upcoming projects at this point. Although projects are in the pipeline they will only be announced at a later date. Ex Libris will however be utilising funds to explore a number of different avenues including further investment in product R&D."

Ex Libris will also fund the expansion of global marketing efforts, particularly into Asia, and the acquisition of complementary companies and technologies. It believes that a listing on AIM will help raise its profile, enhance its ability to gain ...
