Oct. 19--MATTHEWS -- Charlotte Area Transit System's southeast line will run 10.5 miles, but it is the last half-mile of the proposed route that drew a large amount of attention at a public meeting last week. The last in a series of three advice-gathering sessions sponsored by CATS focused on the four outermost stations on the line, which will connect uptown Charlotte and the Interstate 485 area in Matthews.The Southeast Corridor is among several mass transit lines planned or under construction.
