The object of NumberMaze: Decimals and Fractions is for the student to move a playing piece from one corner of a maze to a house by going through gates, using ladders to climb over hedges, picking up litter, crossing rivers, and racing away from whirlwinds. To overcome each obstacle, the student must give a correct answer to one of eighteen different types of exercises involving decimals or fractions from levels of curricula--grades 3-8, adult education: decimals, and adult education: fractions. The software records statistics on the exercises the student has worked and tracks the percent of problems correct per problems attempted of each type at each level.
