Oct. 18--Commissioners in Marion and Sumner counties decided Monday to let their residents vote on whether they want a casino.
Harvey County commissioners made the same decision last week.
No dates have been set for the votes, which would be non-binding. But all three counties intend to hold them before the state Legislature convenes in Topeka Jan. 9.
Lawmakers are expected to consider gaming bills that would permit casinos in portions of the state where voters have approved them.
