Accra, Ghana (PANA) - President John Agyekum Kufuor has announced rewards of $10,000 each to the playing body and technical staff of Ghana 'Black Stars' for clinching a 2006 FIFA World Cup ticket, media reports said here Wednesday.

The money is in addition to $8,000 each member of the squad picked up as bonus after winning 4-0 against Cape Verde in Praia last Saturday to seal Ghana's first ever World Cup appearance.
