Three alcohol-infested parties at Colorado State University resulted in action against eight fraternities and sororities in early September.
Fraternity and sorority members provided and consumed alcohol at three parties, which brought punishments of revoking recognition of one frat, suspending one frat and two sororities, and placing one frat and three sororities on probation. The school's fraternities officially went dry a year ago, after a student died of alcohol poisoning inside the Sigma Pi house.
