When I first played this game at the Electronic Entertainment Expo this spring, it immediately caught my attention. Not only was the roster of superheroes (and villains) you could play deep and interesting, but the hero-on-hero matchups were a hoot. You had access to special abilities for each fighter, the lighting was moody, the drawing style a unique combination of cartoon and cel shading, and the environments were totally interactive.
