MEDIA RELEASE 12 October 2005 FREE TV CONFIDENT ANTI-SIPHONING LIST DELIVERS TO ALL VIEWERS Free TV welcomes the announcement by the minister that the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) will monitor free-to-air usage of sports on the anti-siphoning list. In 2005, free-to-air broadcasters have broadcast 89% of the anti-siphoning sports for which they acquired rights.
