Nairobi Golf Park's Jacob Okello who finished third at the Limuru last weekend made a late charge to the top during the seventh round of this year's Johnnie Walker golf series at Kericho Golf Club yesterday.

Okello fired three over-par 143 to clinch the title; he had 70 in the first day and three over par 73 in the second day. After the first day he was lying second.

Former amateur champion Kopan Timbe and Fred Kamau who were level on the first day on one over-par 71 shared the second prize with 145. Both returned 74.
