Wisconsin MTA held a leadership summit on June 4, 2005, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The guest speaker was Leanne Hoagland-Smith, co-author of M.A.G.I.C.A.L Potential and president of Advanced Systems and Positive Power Strategies, Inc. WMTA members attended the summit to listen to Hoagland-Smith's inspiring and informative messages on the subjects of leadership, motivation and teamwork.
WMTA also is in the process of establishing a central office in the Wisconsin Center for Music Education, near Madison. In addition to a new office, WMTA will be hiring a part-time administrative assistant to oversee some of the operations of the organization.
