New Delhi, Oct 9 (PTI) Superman, the Man of Steel, is all set to sweep into Next Generation, staging a comeback to earth next June after a gap of several years, in an action adventure.

The film, Superman Returns, was shot in and around Sydney mid-August and will be released by Warner Bros on June 30, next year.

"Rather than being a remake of the original movie, the film explores Superman's influence on our global culture and the impact of his return to earth after an absence of several years" says director Bryan Singer.
