CAMPUS NEWS WITS UNIVERSITY This week, the university opened the R4m Marang Centre for Maths and Science Education at the Wits Education Campus. This centre will research the lack of leadership in maths and science education and work to provide solutions. Another division of the university, the Wits Disability Centre, received a large amount of new equipment last week, including new computers with Braille keyboards and sound calculators for blind students. The centre, which supports 180 to 200 students with disabilities, has just been given a three-year equipment and financial pledge from IBM.
