There has been a hiccup on the way to faster growth. Imports of goods, excluding diamonds, unexpectedly fell by 5.1% in September 2005 to $3.17 billion, from $3.34 billion in August, the Israel Tax Authority reports. However, imports of goods, excluding diamonds, in September were 28.7% higher, compared with September 2004, in increase of $708 million.
