Oct. 7--Thailand is among 10 out of 38 countries surveyed by ACNielsen where consumers feel their economies will worsen over the next 12 months, and the only Asian country in the poll where people feel that way.
But of the 10 countries foreseeing a negative outlook, confidence in the future of the economy among Thais is the strongest, with only 37 percent of 502 respondents saying they felt that way, compared to 54 percent for Greece, where people have the least confidence in their economy, 53 percent for France, 46 percent for Italy and 44 percent for Germany.
