Oct. 7--Mobile-phone operator Advanced Info Service (AIS) says it posted double-digit gains in revenues from its value-added service during the first three quarters of this year.
Revenues from value-added services accounted for 12 percent of the company's mobile phone business in the first three quarters, compared with 9 percent at the end of 2004. Around 84 percent of the total market value came from entertainment with 13 percent from information applications and the rest from other services.
