A judge has disqualified herself from a case in which an underwriting company which insured City Hall is fighting an application to wind it up.

Lady Justice Mary Kasango said she could no longer hear the Invesco Assurance Company case since a director was well known to her.

Further, petitioner Kamotho, Maiyo and Mbatia Advocates was at one time closely connected to her legal firm when she was in private practice, she said after adjourning the case to July 8 to enable the parties to file additional supporting affidavits.
