Taipei, 13 June: Minister of Foreign Affairs Tan Sun Chen [Chen Tang-shan] touted Taiwan's policy towards China while leading a group of foreign representatives to Taiwan on a tour of the outlying island county of Kinmen Monday [13 June]. Tan told them that the development of ties between Taiwan and China takes time and that the key to improving ties lies in a "live and let live" approach by both sides, with any bilateral negotiations conducted at government level.
