Port of Spain, Trinidad: A High Court judge Friday [13 July] set 18 July as the start of the proceedings for the lawsuit brought by embattled Chief Justice Satnarine Sharma challenging impeachment proceedings that could lead to his removal from office.

Sharma, who filed his lawsuit against Prime Minister Patrick Manning, is contending that there had been bias on the part of Manning, who last month announced that he had asked President George Maxwell Richards to set up a tribunal to investigate whether there was sufficient evidence to …
