Oct. 6--PTT Plc has established a new subsidiary to handle marketing and distribution of the group's polymer products, which have combined production capacity of up to 500,000 tonnes per year.
The new unit, PTT Polymer Marketing Co (PTT PM) will distribute high-density polyethylene (HDPE) products manufactured by Bangkok Polyethylene Plc (BPE) and National Petrochemical Plc (NPC), two subsidiaries of the PTT Group.
"Our resource utilisation will be improved as PTT, BPE and NPC from now on will have common production, marketing and sales projections," said Prasert Bunsumpun, the PTT president and chairman of PTT PM.
