Bath-based publisher Merricks Media is one of the fastest growing publishers in the UK. Founded in 1998 with just six staff, it now employs over 60 people. In 2003, Merricks was shortlisted for the Independent Publisher of the Year award at the Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) awards.
Graham Prichard is production manager at Merricks Media, where he heads a five-strong team. He has been in the industry for over 28 years - previously at St Ives and Wyndeham Argent - and feels this experience benefits his business. 'I've heard all the excuses,' he said.
Prichard handles the printing of 24 titles and wields an annual print spend of over pounds 1m. …
