Chinese banks and financial institutions are putting a premium on storage networking solutions to strengthen their data consolidation and cope with intensifying competition.
According to Paul Rath, vice-president of US storage networking vendor McDATA's Asia Pacific operations, Chinese banks and financial institutions are facing a big challenge in data consolidation and risk recovery.
"A number of Chinese banks are asking us for storage networking solutions," he said.
