Despite eating rats to show determination to get a district recently, Tororo leaders are still divided over the division of the district.
The commission appointed by President Yoweri Museveni to gather people's views on possible division of the district got stuck when the people's demands shifted from the district to Tororo Municipality ownership.
The commission led by Prof. Forster Byarugaba learnt on Monday that the leaders from Tororo and West Budama counties are bickering over who will own Tororo Municipality if the district is divided.
