"WHEN I went back to work the following day (Monday), early in the morning our secretary handed me a fax paper but I could see terror in her face. I read the fax and recalled the following message:

'Renato, salamat sa tulong mo sa akin at sa pamilya ko, pakisabi kay Mommy at Daddy huwag sila mag-alala.' Ramon (name written).

"I checked the transmittal report at the top of the fax, but nothing was written/recorded where it came from. It was like it came from nowhere.

"First, I was skeptical and still couldn't believe, but I kept the first fax message.
