Community pharmacists must not lose focus of the retail side of their business while they are implementing the new pharmacy contract, UniChem's managing director has warned.

It was easy to get "totally immersed" in the contract, David Coles told delegates. "The attention needed to work through the contract... runs the danger of us taking our eyes off the important income streams of retail and trading," he added.
