Senior Yemeni government officials are making mediation efforts between President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmad of the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia and the Speaker Sharif Hasan Shaykh Aden.

Both leaders are currently in Sanaa and the Yemeni government is exerting enormous efforts to end the differences between the two most senior Somali leaders.
