According to news.gov.hk, total deposits with authorised institutions increased 0.4% in April. Of the total, Hong Kong dollar and foreign currency deposits rose 0.4% and 0.3%, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority says. Renminbi deposits amounted to RMB16.7 billion in April, an increase of RMB1.7 billion or 11.33% compared with RMB15 billion yuan in March.
