NEW DELHI: The political significance of Delhi's Jama Masjid had faded more than a decade ago. On Thursday, the high court put an end to Imam Ahmed Bukhari's claims over the grand masjid by ordering that no alteration or maintenance could be carried out without the "consultation" and "concurrence" of the Wakf Board.
