Canberra's City West renaissance surged forward yesterday with a 10-year agreement for $600 million worth of business and research developments and the creation of more than 7000 jobs.

In partnership with the Australian National University and the ACT Government, engineering, construction and property group Baulderstone Hornibrook will build student accommodation for at least 450 students later this year and develop a 180,000 sq m site for an innovation hub to attract research and development partners from around Australia and the world.
