South American countries hold free trade talks with South Korea.

Seoul, 8 May: South Korea is making progress in its efforts to promote free trade with some Latin American states, including Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, Seoul officials said Sunday [8 May]. South Korea, which already has a free trade agreement in effect with Chile, is trying to make similar arrangements with other countries in the region.
