New Orleans gets back to school
A parochial school in the city's Al-giers section, which largely escaped flooding, reopened Monday for the first time since Katrina hit. The students at St. Andrew the Apostle Elementary included some displaced from other schools. Some other Catholic schools in the archdiocese were also reopening, but public schools remain closed.
