Yellow Pages publisher buys rival
R.H. Donnelley will acquire Dex Media for $4.2 bil. The new company will be the country's No. 3 Yellow Pages publisher, with more than 600 directories in 28 states and a total circulation of 73 mil. Donnelley will pay $12.30 in cash and 0.24154 common share for each share of Dex. That adds up to $1.85 bil in cash and 36.4 mil shares of Donnelley. Dex fell 3.5% to 26.82. Donnelley slid 2.5% to 61.77.
