These three works are different from each other stylistically, but they each are still essentially "modern classical" in form, as the blurb sheet that came with my review sample indicated. Musically, they really do work well, and David Chesky is obviously a talented and imaginative composer. Indeed, I think that the material will also satisfy those who generally favor traditional musical forms.
