NO fewer than five persons were feared killed yesterday during an early morning raid on a second generation bank (name withheld) by a gang of armed robbers at the Itire Road, Lawanson area of Lagos state. Police, however, said two of the robbers were shot dead during an exchange of fire, while two unidentified corpses were found on the escape route of the robbers.

Reports said dare-devil robbers numbering over 30 and armed with highly sophisticated weapons stormed the bank in two unmarked commercial buses and other cars around 1am Sunday and shot dead one of the civilian bank …
