JOHOR BAHARU, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- Housing developers have been urged to consider the needs of senior citizens by providing facilities for them as their number is rising annually.

Women, Family and Community Development Deputy Minister Datuk G. Palanivel said even houses of worship mostly did not have facilities that met senior citizens' needs.

"We hope all government agencies, non-governmental organisations and housing developers and other private companies will not forget the interest of senior citizens when they plan their facilities," he told reporters after opening the MIC Gelang Patah division …
