Drinking Up Profits In Poland Central European Offers Additional Liquor Brands.(THE IBD 100)

Liquor importer Central European Distribution has carved out a nice little niche for itself.
The company imports alcoholic beverages and soft drinks to Poland and is the country's largest distributor of domestic vodka. It's also Poland's exclusive importer of Dunhill Cigars and Evian Water.
CEDC operates 13 distribution centers in Poland as well as 78 satellite branches in some of the country's largest cities. It also sells its products at more than 37,000 retail outlets, including gasoline stations, supermarkets, duty-free stores, nightclubs and restaurants.
In August, CEDC bought a 50% stake in Dutch vodka maker Bols from France's Remy Cointreau. It also entered into an alliance with Remy giving CEDC exclusive rights to distribute the company's products in Poland.
