ASEAN nations will fight bird flu
Agriculture ministers from the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations OK'd a plan at a meeting in the Philippines. They also pledged to cooperate with int'l groups and are hoping for any aid in the battle. The World Health Organization's Dr. David Nabarro said Thurs that a pandemic could kill 5 mil to 150 mil people, depending on whether world leaders act now.
