Vienna, 16 June: The International Atomic Energy Agency's [IAEA] Board of Governors called on North Korea on Thursday [16 June] to swiftly and unconditionally return to the six-party talks on its nuclear ambitions. The call was contained in a summary issued by Ingrid Hall, chair of the IAEA Board of Governors, after debate on the North's nuclear issue. Although the chair's summary was non-binding, it reflects the IAEA board's desire to see Pyongyang return to the negotiating table, delegates said.
