Oct. 3--The Finance Ministry will hold a new overseas investment roadshows starting in November to attract foreign investors to invest in the 1.7 trillion baht worth of planned infrastructure megaprojects.
Naris Chaiyasoot, director-general of the Fiscal Policy Office, said the roadshows would potentially be held in Hong Kong, Singapore and Scotland.
"This time, we'll convince foreign investors of our economic stability despite the impact of rising oil prices. We're confident the economy will grow 4.2 percent this year, down from 6 percent last year," he said.
