Oct. 3--To effectively promote Thailand as the "Kitchen of the World" and to achieve the goal of making the country into one of the world's top five food exporters, consulting centres in overseas locations have been proposed to help entrepreneurs deal with local regulations and financing
The recommendations are contained in a study conducted by Thammasat University based on interviews with Thai restaurant owners and foreign consumers.
It suggested that a pilot centre be set up in Los Angeles, which currently has 600 Thai restaurants, the largest number for any city outside of Thailand.
