ROMAN Abramovich was as impassive as ever, despite having the dubious pleasure of sitting through last Wednesday's UEFA Champions' League anti-climactic clash at Anfield.
The Russian billionaire not once betrayed his inner emotions as his mega-million Chelsea side barely scrambled a nil-all result with Liverpool.
Is it any wonder he did not seem to be upset?
Just hours before the kick-off, the 39-year-old oil tycoon had become the richest man in Russia, in Britain and had soared to fourth on the world rich list with a personal fortune topping $20bn.
Abramovich had just sealed the biggest business deal in Russian history when Gazprom, the Russian state gas giant, agreed to buy the bulk of Sibneft, his oil company.
