Theron Trimble Receives National Council for the Social Studies Outstanding Service Award.

SILVER SPRING, Md. -- Theron Trimble, Ed.D., a social studies educator from Naples, Fla., will receive the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) Outstanding Service Award, in recognition of his exceptional service to the social studies profession, at the 84th Annual NCSS conference at the Kansas City Marriott in downtown Kansas City, Mo.
The award will be presented at the NCSS Awards Reception sponsored by USA Today on Saturday, Nov 19 at 6 p.m.
NCSS created the Outstanding Service Award to recognize members for outstanding long-term service to the NCSS and to local, state and regional councils.
