THE PHILIPPINE BASKETBALL ASSOciation will fine seven players for snubbing the players orientation held Wednesday at the Moro Lorenzo Gym.
Barangay Ginebras Mark Caguioa, Jayjay Helterbrand, Rodney Santos, Kalani Ferreria, Billy Mamaril of Coca-Cola, Alaskas Bong Hawkins and Willie Miller of Talk N Text are facing sanctions for failing to justify their absences.
Its a must-attend function for all the players so I dont see any reason why the league should not penalize them, said PBA technical chief Perry Martinez.
A PBA source said the players would be fined P1,500-P2,000 each by the league apart from the penalty that they stand to incur from their teams.
