ACCIDENTAL HEROES?

As the opposition continues to accuse President Macapagal-Arroyo of many things unheroic, she turns the spotlight on her and her husbands ancestral roots.

In her speech during the 8th anniversary celebration of Kaanak 1896, Ms Arroyo told the descendants of national heroes that she and her husband could trace their ancestral roots to some of the countrys defenders.
