Oct. 1--The issuer of bonds to finance the losses incurred by the state Oil Fund, has affirmed to prospective investors that the debt instruments would carry low risks.
The Energy Fund Administration Institute (EFAI), which launched the 24.6-billion-baht bond issue, said the government would grant 12 billion baht worth of interest-free loans to the issuer if it faced a financial crunch.
The issue was more than two times oversubscribed by institutional investors when it was launched on Wednesday. Retail investors can subscribe to 13.2 billion baht in bonds from Oct 10-12 at Krung Thai Bank, Siam City Bank and TMB ...
