New Delhi, Jun 3 (PTI) A day after DMK made complaints about reports of large scale additions in electoral rolls allegedly by the ruling AIADMK in southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, India's Election Commission on Friday decided to send a two-member team to the state to look into the issue.

The team, comprising Secretary Tapas Kumar and Legal Advisor S K Mendiratta, would meet the political parties and consider all steps required to ensure that applications were properly verified and only genuine electors were admitted, EC said in a press note.
