Turkey will send its prime minister to Pope John Paul II's funeral, an event that is expected to draw more than 200 heads of state to the Vatican on Friday

State Minister Mehmet Aydyn, who is in charge of overseeing Turkey's Religious Affairs Directorate (Diyanet), will also attend the ceremony along with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoethan, press reports said
