EC blasts Buta for code breach.

: The Election Commission has come down heavily on Bihar governor Buta Singh for having violated the model code of conduct by making appointments in a number of state bodies after announcement of the poll schedule. The EC order addresses a complaint filed by the BJP on September 6 alleging that Mr Buta Singh had disregarded the model code in making appointments in Bihar Public Service Commission, Bihar Backward Class Commission, Bihar State Minority Commission, 15-point Programme Implementation Committee and Bihar State Nagrik Parishad within hours of the poll code coming into force.
